Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle accident Monday afternoon after a tractor-trailer overturned on a Pennsylvania Turnpike ramp, according to reports.
The incident occurred around 2:31 p.m. at the ramp connecting Interstate 276 to Route 309 southbound in Upper Dublin Township. First responders arrived to find the overturned truck blocking part of the roadway.
Authorities confirmed that injuries were reported, though the severity and number of those hurt have not yet been released.
Traffic in the area was impacted as crews worked to secure the scene, assist the injured, and begin clearing the overturned vehicle.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Drivers are advised to avoid the area and expect delays.
