Horsham officials welcome opening of first Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard location

Horsham Township officials and staff recently celebrated the opening of the township’s first Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard location, marking a new addition to the local business community.

Council members and township staff visited the new shop shortly after its opening, where they were given a tour of the facility and an overview of its day-to-day operations. During the visit, officials met with staff and learned more about how the store will serve customers throughout the spring and summer seasons.

The new location offers Rita’s signature Italian ice, frozen custard, and specialty frozen treats. According to store information, the business operates seven days a week from noon to 9 p.m. and also provides catering services for local events, parties, and community gatherings.

Township officials noted that the opening represents a positive addition to Horsham’s local economy, expanding options for residents while supporting a well-known regional brand that frequently engages with community events and seasonal traditions.
