Police seek public’s help identifying shoplifting suspects

In two separate incidents, suspects stole more than $1,000 worth of goods

Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals accused of separate shoplifting incidents at a local grocery store.

According to the Upper Moreland Township Police Department (UMPD), a male suspect allegedly stole $508 worth of food and household items from the Giant store located at 315 N York Road. He was last seen leaving the parking lot in a black sedan.

In a separate incident, a female suspect is accused of stealing $583 worth of household items from the same location. Police describe her as a white female wearing blue scrubs and a black jacket featuring a BMW logo.

Officials are urging anyone who may recognize either individual to come forward. Tips can be provided by contacting Officer Nagy at [email protected] or by calling 215-657-4700. Anonymous submissions are also accepted through the department’s online tip system.

The investigation is ongoing.
