Wellie’s Wish Dog Rescue is excited to introduce Carly, a 2.5-month-old Corgi, as their featured rescue of the week.
Carly is a 15-pound bundle of classic Corgi energy — playful, curious, fast, and always on the move. Coming from a puppy mill, she can be a bit tentative with new people at first, but with a little patience and affection, she warms up quickly and shows her sweet side.
She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys being around her people, even if cuddle time is on her terms. Carly is crate-trained and currently working on house training. Because of her high energy and tendency to chase, she’ll need daily off-leash time in a secure area and would likely do best in a home without cats.
