The Hatboro Police Department is helping to spread the word about a dog found in the area of the Hatboro Little League fields.

On Sunday afternoon, Jan. 5, at 11:28 a.m., the police were told that a black-and-white dog was found in the borough. As of Tuesday morning, no one had yet come forward to say that the dog is theirs.

“According to our reports, no one has claimed the dog,” said Hatboro Police Department Chief Mark Ruegg. “The woman who found it has the dog at her house.”

Police said that the dog has no chip. The woman who found it, since Sunday, has been attempting to use social media to find its owner without much success.

The dog found in the area of Hatboro Little League baseball field is pictured here.  Please contact the Hatboro Police if you recognize the dog, please call 215-675-2832.
