Officials in Hatboro are moving forward with plans to repair the West Monument Avenue bridge following a recent meeting between borough staff and the borough engineer.
According to borough officials, the Hatboro Borough Public Works Department will carry out the necessary repairs in coordination with engineering staff. While the work is not expected to begin immediately, preparations are underway, and the project will move forward once materials and scheduling are finalized.
The bridge will need to be closed for approximately 24 to 48 hours during the repair process. Borough officials say advance notice will be provided to residents once a timeline for the closure is confirmed.
In addition to the repair update, officials are reminding residents about an upcoming town hall meeting scheduled for April 1 at 6 p.m. The meeting will focus on a recently awarded grant and outline the next steps for how the funding will be used.
Residents with questions about the bridge project or the town hall are encouraged to contact Borough Hall directly by phone or email.
