Authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect involved in a residential burglary that occurred last summer in Ambler, according to authorities

According to the Ambler Borough Police Department, the burglary happened on June 6, 2025, at approximately 10:50 p.m. at a residence on the 200 block of Belmont Avenue.

Investigators say the suspect appeared to have been watching the home for some time and knew the homeowners were not present. Police report that the individual forced entry into the residence and disabled the home’s security cameras shortly after entering.

Before the cameras were disabled, however, the security system captured a photograph of the suspect, referred to by police as Actor #1.

Authorities say the suspect removed several items from the residence before leaving the scene.

Police are now asking anyone who may recognize the individual in the photo or who has information related to the burglary to contact Detective Tyler Conroy with the Ambler Borough Police Department at 215-646-1000 ext. 104.
