Two men, including one from Horsham, are in custody after a traffic stop at the Jersey Shore earlier this month, according to a report.
Police in Long Beach Township said officers pulled over a vehicle in the Holgate section of the township on Saturday, March 7.
The driver, Alizai Smith, 24, of Horsham, and a passenger, Ly Phu, 29, of Philadelphia, were arrested and charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Phu was also charged with hindering apprehension, according to police.
Both men were processed and transported to the Ocean County Jail, where they were held pending a detention hearing.
Authorities noted that the charges are accusations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
