Horsham Township officials have closed a portion of County Line Road near S. Norristown Road Thursday morning as emergency crews investigate a crash involving a struck pedestrian, according to reports.
According to Horsham Chief's Advisory Teams, units responded to the intersection of County Line Road and S. Norristown Road at approximately 6:45 a.m. Thursday. The incident prompted an immediate road closure in the area as police began an accident investigation.
Officials say the closure is expected to last for an extended period and will likely affect the morning commute. Drivers are urged to plan alternate routes and avoid the general area while crews remain on scene.
Detours and traffic delays are expected throughout the morning hours.
Authorities also reported that, aside from the closure near the crash site, all other roadways in Horsham Township were accident-free as of the early morning commute.
