Emergency responders were called to a scene Monday night after a vehicle was found partially submerged in a pond near the intersection of Blair Mill Road and Commerce Avenue in Upper Moreland Township, according to reports.
The incident occurred around 5:17 p.m. Monday, when crews arrived to find a vehicle in the water with the hood submerged beneath the surface.
A witness at the scene reported that at least two people were inside the vehicle before it entered the pond. It was not immediately clear how the vehicle ended up in the water.
Emergency crews worked at the scene to assess the situation and determine whether anyone remained inside the vehicle. Information about possible rescues or injuries was not immediately available.
Responders from Second Alarmers Rescue Squad responded to the scene.
Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved, and the circumstances surrounding how the vehicle entered the pond remain under investigation.
