Emergency crews responded to a house fire late Thursday night in Horsham Township, Pennsylvania after a lightning strike reportedly ignited the blaze, according to report. 

The fire was reported around 11:20 p.m. in the 200 block of Running Water Court, where lightning is believed to have struck a home and caused the fire, according to initial reports.

Multiple fire companies responded to the scene, including the Horsham Fire Company, Fort Washington Fire Company, and the Upper Moreland Township Fire Department, along with additional mutual aid units.

Firefighters worked to contain the blaze, bringing the fire under control in about an hour, according to reports from the scene.

There were no injuries reported in this incident.

Authorities have not yet released additional details as the incident remains under investigation.
