The Horsham Water and Sewer Authority has issued a statement following a water main break that occurred Tuesday morning on Joseph Road, between Lois Road and Marietta Drive.
According to the Authority, the break happened shortly after 8 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3. Crews responded to the scene and are attempting to make emergency repairs.
Officials said some residents may experience temporary water discoloration as a result of the repair work. Residents who notice discolored water are advised to flush their service lines by running water from a bathtub faucet or an outdoor spigot until the water runs clear. The Authority noted this process should only take a few minutes.
If water discoloration persists after flushing, residents are encouraged to contact the Horsham Water and Sewer Authority for further assistance.
No additional issues were reported.
