HORSHAM EMERGENCY SERVICES

Horsham emergency services respond to multiple incidents to start the week

Horsham Township emergency responders have faced a busy start to the week, responding to multiple incidents throughout the area.

On Tuesday, emergency services were dispatched after a vehicle crashed into a utility pole, bringing the pole down and leaving live electrical wires on the roadway. Responders were required to secure the scene and close nearby roads while utility crews addressed the downed lines.

On Monday, Horsham ChATs reported that three separate calls occurred throughout the day. The first two incidents occurred in the 400 block of Dresher Road, where units were dispatched at 10:34 a.m. and again at 10:52 a.m. for alarm activations.

Later that afternoon, at approximately 4:24 p.m., Horsham Fire Company, along with mutual-aid partners, were dispatched to the 600 block of County Line Road for a working house fire. The fire was placed under control within 20 minutes.

There were no reported injuries. The property sustained moderate damage. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The family was assisted on scene emergency responders.

In total, Horsham emergency services had 13 calls for EMS service Monday.
