Emergency crews responded to a serious crash involving a vehicle and a utility pole at the intersection of W County Line Road and Meetinghouse Road in Horsham Township on Tuesday.
According to initial reports, a blue Dodge Journey struck a pole around 3:30 p.m. , bringing it down and leaving live electrical wires on the roadway. The incident prompted an urgent response from police, fire, and utility crews due to the significant safety hazards posed by the downed lines.
Authorities warned motorists and pedestrians to avoid the area and keep a safe distance.
The extent of injuries, if any, has not yet been confirmed, but the driver had to extricated from the vehicle. Traffic disruptions were expected in the surrounding area while crews worked to secure the scene, restore utilities, and investigate the cause of the crash.
