The Horsham Water and Sewer Authority, along with the Township’s Public Works Department, had a busy week addressing multiple water infrastructure issues.

Earlier this week, township crews repaired a water main break on Lois Road between Marietta Drive and Joseph Road. While the repairs have been completed, Horsham officials are advising residents in the area that some customers may experience temporary water discoloration as a result of the work.

Residents who notice discolored water are encouraged to flush their service lines by running water from a bathtub or an outdoor spigot until the water runs clear. This process should take only a few minutes. If discoloration continues, residents should contact the Horsham Water and Sewer Authority for assistance.

In addition to the Lois Road repair, township workers also performed scheduled water main maintenance for properties along Easton Road between Horsham Road and Dresher Road.

In related news, Horsham Township announced the formation of the 2026 Board of the Horsham Water and Sewer Authority.

The newly formed board includes:

Allen Presley
Kenneth R. Woods
Valerie Mebert
William Gallagher
Mike Shortall
Timothy Smeltzer
John R. Butler
