Hatboro-Horsham School District is partnering with the GIANT grocery store in Horsham to help address childhood hunger through the company’s annual Feeding School Kids campaign.
Through March 31, shoppers at the GIANT located at 314 Horsham Road can choose to round up their purchase total at the register, with the extra change donated directly to support students in the Hatboro-Horsham School District who need assistance accessing nutritious meals.
As part of the campaign, The GIANT Company will match all customer donations up to $100,000, effectively doubling the impact of each contribution made by shoppers. District officials said the partnership will directly support ongoing efforts to ensure students have reliable access to healthy food so they can focus on learning during the school day.
Hatboro-Horsham administrators expressed gratitude for being selected as a beneficiary of the program and thanked the community for its continued support of district families.
District officials are encouraging residents, parents, and staff to participate in the campaign by rounding up their purchases during checkout and helping make a local difference for Hatboro-Horsham students.
