A local activist group is planning another public demonstration in Hatboro later this month, part of a growing nationwide series of coordinated protests focused on federal policies and civil rights concerns.
Organizers with Hatboro Indivisible announced they will host a peaceful “No Thrones, No Crowns, No Kings” protest on March 28 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of York Road and Lehman Avenue in Hatboro.
According to organizers, the sidewalk rally will emphasize nonviolent participation while giving residents an opportunity to voice opposition to current administration policies, cabinet actions, immigration enforcement efforts, and what participants describe as broader human rights concerns.
The upcoming demonstration will mark the third “No Kings” protest held locally. Organizers say the Hatboro event is expected to coincide with more than 1,000 similar demonstrations planned in communities across the United States, reflecting what supporters describe as an ongoing grassroots movement that began in 2025 aimed at defending democratic institutions.
Participants are expected to line sidewalks with signs and noisemakers while remaining compliant with local laws. Event guidelines stress de-escalation and prohibit weapons, including those that may otherwise be legally permitted.
In addition to political expression, organizers are encouraging attendees to bring non-perishable food donations to support local food pantries, framing the event as both a protest and a community aid effort.
Officials have not announced any planned road closures, though motorists traveling through the York Road corridor during the afternoon hours may encounter increased pedestrian activity.
