BREAKING: Fatal two-vehicle crash shuts down Horsham Road, according to reports

Emergency crews responded to a fatal two-vehicle accident at 8:08 p.m. on the 1200 block of Horsham Road Saturday night, according to reports. 

Initial reports indicate one vehicle overturned and caught fire. One person was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The other driver was transported to Abington Hospital to treat injuries.

No other information has been released at this time.

Police will remain on scene for an extended period of time as the investigation continues. Horsham Road is closed in the area.

Responding agencies include Horsham Police Department, Horsham Fire Department, Horsham Fire Police, Montgomery Township emergency personnel, VMSC, and Community Ambulance Association of Ambler

Motorists are urged to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
