Horsham Township officials are looking to hire seasonal workers this spring to assist with maintenance and upkeep across local parks and municipal facilities, offering an opportunity for students and young adults to gain hands-on public works experience.

The township is seeking to fill three summer positions within its Public Works Department. The jobs are aimed at individuals who are at least 18 years old and are either recent high school graduates or current college students. Officials said the roles are expected to run from April through the end of October, though schedules may be shortened for those returning to school.

According to township officials, the seasonal workers will support routine maintenance throughout the spring and summer months, including mowing, string trimming, maintaining park grounds and facilities, and performing general labor duties as needed.

The positions pay between $18 and $20 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The jobs do not include eligibility for overtime, medical benefits, or paid holidays.

Residents interested in applying or learning more about the positions can contact Kyle Lynch at [email protected] for additional information.
