A 52-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run crash that left a juvenile bicyclist injured last month at a busy Hatboro intersection.
According to Hatboro Police, officers were dispatched on March 30, 2026, to the intersection of South York Road and School Road for a report of a vehicle accident involving a struck pedestrian. Upon arrival, officers learned the vehicle involved had fled the scene.
Witnesses described the vehicle as a black SUV with a partial license plate reading “MTX,” operated by a white female.
During the investigation, police reviewed video footage that captured the incident. Authorities say the footage appears to show a black SUV, possibly a Toyota or Toyota Highlander, striking the juvenile bicyclist in the middle of the intersection. The vehicle then briefly pulled over before continuing northbound on South York Road without stopping to provide aid or information.
Following further investigation, police identified the driver as Orsolya Bereznai.
Bereznai surrendered to authorities on April 10, 2026, on an outstanding arrest warrant. She is currently awaiting arraignment.
