Residents in Willow Grove may have noticed a recent change in the local dining scene, as a Federal Donuts & Chicken location in the area has closed amid broader shifts within the company.
The store opened its doors in January 2025, and is now closing just 15 months after its grand opening.
According to a report, the Willow Grove store was one of several suburban locations shut down by a major franchise group that had been expanding the popular Philadelphia-born brand. The closures also included locations in Radnor and along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
