J.T. Realmuto departed Tuesday evening's Phillies-San Francisco Giants game early, with Rafael Marchán pinch hitting for him in the top of the second inning.

According to Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Realmuto left the game with a bruised right foot.

Rafael Devers fouled a ball off of Realmuto's foot in the bottom of the first inning, which is seemingly where the injury took place:

Realmuto, 35, is now in his eighth season with the Phillies. He tested free agency this past offseason, ultimately returning on a three-year/$45 million deal, a pact that includes additional incentives. The three-time All-Star is batting .240 with an .806 OPS early on in 2026.

We will update this story when more information comes in.
