A large dumpster fire erupted at Sullivan’s Scrap Metal, located at 451 Oakdale Avenue in Hatboro, around noon today, according to reports.
Flames reportedly were seen 10 to 20 feet in diameter, fueled by scrap materials stored underneath a freestanding overhang.
Fire crews are responded to the scene to contain the blaze. No injuries have been reported.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire. Residents and passersby are advised to avoid the area near Meadowbrook Avenue and E County Line Road while emergency personnel continue their response.
