PECO gas main replacement on Warminster Road to last about one month

During construction, temporary lane closures will be in effect

  • Public Safety

Starting Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, PECO will begin a natural gas main replacement project along Warminster Road, between Byberry Road and Manor Road. The work, scheduled Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., is expected to continue through November.

Utility Line Services, a qualified PECO contractor, will perform the work. Crews may be active in the roadway, on sidewalks, and in some cases on private properties. Area property owners should have already received direct notices outlining the scope of the project.

During construction, temporary lane closures will be in effect. Drivers traveling through the area should expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes whenever possible until the project is complete.

Residents with questions or who need to coordinate appointments may contact Rich Brunner of Utility Line Services at 215-430-1503. Additional inquiries can also be directed to PECO’s Work Inquiries line at 610-832-6420 or by emailing [email protected]
