After more than five decades at its Willow Grove headquarters, Asplundh Tree Expert is preparing to move less than a mile away into a newly renovated, 120,000-square-foot office at 680 Blair Mill Road in Horsham. The relocation, planned for early 2026, will give more than 400 local employees a larger and more modern workplace.
"Asplundh recently signed a long-term lease for a nearby office at 680 Blair Mill Road and will occupy the building upon the completion of renovations," the company said in a press release.
The move from the location at 708 Blair Mill Road marks one of the Philadelphia region’s largest office leases of the year, according to Newmark’s Jeff Mack, who represented Asplundh in the transaction. The company has also signed a long-term lease for the new space, though financial terms were not disclosed. Its longtime headquarters, a 93,000-square-foot property on 13 acres, is currently being marketed for sale.
Workspace Property Trust, which owns the new Horsham site, praised Asplundh’s deep roots in the community and commitment to its workforce. As part of the move, Asplundh will also receive building-top signage at its new home.
Founded in 1928, the family-owned company has grown into a global leader in tree pruning and vegetation management, with more than 36,000 employees across the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Much of its work involves clearing vegetation around power lines under contracts with utilities and government agencies.
