Hatboro is cooking up something special and the community gets to be part of the recipe.
Pacitti Brothers Ice Cream & Hot Dogs, located at 105 N York Road in Hatboro, is on a mission to create the Official Hatboro Hot Dog, and residents are invited to bring their creativity to the table.
The rules are simple: come up with a fun, Hatboro-inspired name for the hot dog and choose the toppings that will make it memorable. Entries could be classic and simple or piled high with bold flavors. The more original, the better.
For inspiration, one sample entry is “The Hatboro Hound,” topped with chili, cheddar, onions, and spicy mustard.
The contest will run for two weeks, and when it wraps up, the top three submissions will be posted for a community vote. The hot dog with the most support will earn its spot on the menu.
There is just one catch. Participants aren’t allowed to vote for their own creation, so the pressure is on to win over fellow residents.
Submissions are open until Sept. 7, and everyone is encouraged to join in. \
