On Monday, Sept. 23, Hatboro-Horsham School District's Hatters For Music (HFM) program will bring their talent and energy to Citizens Bank Park, adding a special musical touch to the Philadelphia Phillies’ matchup against the Miami Marlins.
Before the first pitch, HFM students will join a colorful parade and performance outside the stadium, entertaining fans as they make their way into the ballpark. Families and friends are invited to gather early and cheer on the performers as they showcase their school spirit and musicianship in a lively pre-game celebration.
The festivities don’t end there. After the final out, Hatters For Music will take center stage once again, sending fans home on a high note with a post-game performance. This rare opportunity allows the students not only to represent their school in front of thousands of fans but also to experience performing in one of Philadelphia’s most iconic venues.
Adding to the excitement, schools have the opportunity to compete for a coveted pre-game spot on the field. The event is part of a local competition and the school that sells the most tickets will earn the chance to perform on the Phillies’ field prior to the game. HFM has proudly taken the field in previous years, and the group is encouraging families and supporters to help them secure this honor once again by purchasing tickets.
Tickets are available in Sections 201 and 205 for $42 each, with $8 from every ticket sold directly benefiting Hatters For Music. These funds play a vital role in supporting music education and performance opportunities for students throughout the year. Students already participating in Hatboro-Horsham Marching Unit (HHMU) do not need to purchase tickets for the game.
To ensure participation, all ticket orders must be placed by Monday Sept. 8, through CheddarUp. With a limited ordering window, HFM encourages families, friends, and community members to act quickly and secure their seats for this exciting evening.
The link on the website says orders are due by Aug. 29, however, HFM extended the deadline until the beginning of next week.
