In response to the ongoing federal government shutdown and the impending loss of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits for tens of thousands of residents, the Montgomery County Commissioners will hold a press conference to announce a significant local investment to support neighbors in need.
The event will take place Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Manna on Main Street, located at 606 E. Main Street, Lansdale, PA 19446.
Following remarks, there will be a media Q&A session and an optional tour of Manna’s facilities. Free parking is available in the main lot on the property.
The press conference will feature remarks from the Montgomery County Commissioners, Alex Walker, Grants and Annual Fund Coordinator for the MontCo Anti-Hunger Network (MAHN), and Suzan Neiger Gould, Executive Director of Manna on Main Street.
