Tiny witches, superheroes, and pumpkins will take over the Horsham Township Library this Halloween morning for a not-so-spooky parade filled with laughter and library magic.
Families in Horsham are invited to celebrate Halloween in a fun and friendly way at the Horsham Township Library’s Halloween Parade. The event will take place on Friday, Oct. 31, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at 435 Babylon Road, Horsham, PA 19044.
"Bring the kids in their costumes to the library - before we open - for a spooky (not scary) story followed by a parade with stops for trick-or-treat and a take-home craft," Horsham Township library staff wrote.
This community event promises a morning full of festive fun designed especially for young children. The library’s annual “spooky (not scary)” story time kicks off the festivities. After story time, children can join in a costume parade through the library stacks, showing off their creative outfits as they stroll past the bookshelves.
Library staff will be on hand to hand out goodies, ensuring a safe and weather-proof Halloween experience. Each child will also receive a take-home craft, adding a creative touch to the celebration.
Parents are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early so their children don’t miss the start of story time. Costumes are highly encouraged, and families should bring a small bag for candy and treats collected along the way.
The event is free, but registration is required, as space is limited. Families can register through the library’s website at horshamlibrary.org or by calling (215) 443-2609.
This event is part of the library’s ongoing effort to foster community engagement and literacy through fun, family-friendly programs. The Horsham Halloween Parade offers a safe, inclusive way for young residents to celebrate the holiday, make new friends, and enjoy the magic of reading in a festive environment.
So grab your costume, your candy bag, and your Halloween spirit, and join the Horsham Township Library for a morning of books, costumes, and community fun.
