Hatboro Borough Council took time to honor a familiar face in the community for more than 15 years of trusted service and hometown dedication on South York Road.
At its meeting on Monday, Oct. 27, Hatboro Borough Council recognized Adam’s Cash For Gold, located at 21 S. York Road, for more than 15 years of dedicated service to the Hatboro community.
For many residents, Adam’s Cash For Gold has become more than just a place to exchange jewelry or collectibles for cash, it’s a trusted neighborhood shop built on honesty, transparency, and genuine customer care.
"Adam walks every customer through the value of their items," said Council member Don Hoover. "Adam grew up right here in Hatboro. He continues to impact lives here in Hatboro on a daily basis. The Borough is extremely grateful for all of his hard work."
Whether you’re selling gold, silver, coins, or jewelry that’s broken, unwanted, or simply collecting dust, owner Adam takes the time to personally walk each customer through the process. He explains the value of every item and what factors contribute to its worth, helping people make informed and confident decisions.
Adam’s story is deeply rooted in Hatboro. A lifelong resident, he opened his shop in the heart of downtown with a simple goal — to give his neighbors a friendly, reliable place to turn their valuables into cash without the pressure or uncertainty that often comes with the process.
Customers often stop in not only to sell items, but to ask questions, learn something new, or simply catch up.
Borough Council’s recognition celebrates not only the business’s longevity, but also Adam’s ongoing commitment to the people who make up the Hatboro community.
