Bimbo Bakeries USA, headquartered in Horsham, joined its parent company Grupo Bimbo in celebrating the 10th edition of the Bimbo Global Race, the world’s largest charitable running event.
This year’s race united more than 165,000 participants across 28 cities in 22 countries, helping the company donate over 3 million slices of bread to food banks worldwide. The initiative reflects Bimbo’s mission of “The Good We Share,” encouraging community connection, health, and generosity through physical activity.
While Mexico served as the main host country for the 10th anniversary celebration, U.S. participants joined both virtually and in person at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. Over the past decade, the event has attracted more than 1.7 million runners globally and resulted in over 29 million slices of bread donated to those in need.
Local employees at Bimbo Bakeries USA’s Horsham headquarters also participated in the event, continuing the company’s commitment to giving back to communities where it operates.
“The race embodies our purpose of inspiring and building a better world together,” said Alberto Levy, Global Marketing Director at Grupo Bimbo.
