The Solebury Township Police Department has arrested a Hatboro man accused of making violent threats against police officers on social media, according to reports.

The incident began on Oct. 14, 2025, when Solebury Township Police posted a traffic advisory on Facebook regarding restrictions along the 6200 block of Lower Mountain Road, where through traffic was prohibited between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

In response to the post, a user commented that he would drive through the restricted area and, if stopped by police, would “shoot them dead.” Detectives immediately began investigating the threat and identified the suspect as Manuel Cabral, 45, of Hatboro, Pennsylvania.

On October 17, 2025, around 9:20 a.m., Solebury Township Police, working with the Upper Moreland Township Police Department, located and arrested Cabral without incident. He was later arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Brian Marriott and committed to the Bucks County Correctional Facility after failing to post 10% of $100,000 bail.

The investigation remains ongoing.
