The Montgomery County Commerce Department and the Montgomery County Workforce Development Board will welcome hundreds of students, families, and educators to the fourth annual Careers of Tomorrow Student Expo on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, Hall B, in Oaks.
The event will feature more than 70 exhibitors representing a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, building trades, healthcare, energy, information technology, public safety, education, non-profits, and government. The Expo is designed for students in grades 8 through 12, along with their families and educators, to explore high-demand careers through hands-on activities, demonstrations, and direct interaction with employers.
Commissioner Thomas DiBello will deliver the welcome address at 8:30 a.m. and tour the expo floor, while Commissioner Jamila Winder is scheduled to attend from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The Careers of Tomorrow Expo helps connect young people with real-world opportunities and shows them the many career paths available right here in Montgomery County.
The event traces its roots back to 2014, when it began as ManuFest, a manufacturing-focused career fair developed to help local employers address talent shortages. Over time, it expanded to include additional sectors such as healthcare and the building trades, becoming ManuFest & More. In 2022, it was rebranded as Careers of Tomorrow to reflect a broader focus on emerging industries and hands-on exploration across multiple career fields.
Now in its fourth year under the new name, Careers of Tomorrow continues to help Montgomery County students discover promising, well-paying careers—many of which require little to no post-secondary education.
