Joshua Evan Baranowski, 31, of Horsham, is facing felony charge after allegedly accidentally shooting a gun into a neighboring residence, according to police.
Horsham Township Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Alison Road in Horsham Township on Sept. 21 after Baranowski called to report he inadvertently discharged his firearm.
He told police that he fired a round through his apartment door and that his weapon was unloaded.
Upon arrival, officers met Baranowski and his girlfriend outside the residence. Baranowski admitted to drinking earlier in the night and gave officers permission to retrieve the firearm from his apartment.
Investigation revealed the bullet had traveled through his door, into a neighboring apartment, and lodged in the kitchen wall. Officers recovered a Radical Firearms AR-15 rifle, two magazines, and one spent shell casing.
No injuries were reported.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 9, 2025, at 2:15 p.m. before Judge Todd Stephens.
He faces a felony charge of Discharge of a Firearm into Occupied Structure, and other charges.
Baranowski posted bail, which was set at $50,000.
