Aqua Pennsylvania will be installing a new water main along eastbound County Line Road beginning Monday, Dec. 1, 2025.
This project will require a long-term full closure of the eastbound lanes and will remain in effect through Tuesday, January 13, 2026, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Traffic Restrictions
Eastbound County Line Road will be closed and detoured between Route 263 (York Road) and Route 332 (Jacksonville Road). During the closure, drivers will follow a posted detour using:
Route 263 (York Road) → Route 132 (Street Road) → Route 332 (Jacksonville Road).
Westbound County Line Road will stay open, so only eastbound travelers will be affected.
Local Access
Residents, business owners, trash haulers, mail carriers, and delivery services will still be permitted within the work zone. Access may be restricted at certain points, but entry to homes and businesses will be maintained throughout the project.
Drivers should plan for delays and backups, especially during peak hours. Driver should also prepare additional travel time when approaching the construction zone, and use alternate routes whenever possible to avoid congestion.
All construction activities are weather dependent, meaning schedules may shift due to conditions.
Residents with questions or concerns should contact Aqua Pennsylvania directly at 877-987-2782.
