The Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Holiday Parade on Sunday, November 23, 2025, bringing festive crowds and significant road closures to the area. The parade is scheduled to run from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. along York Road, stretching from Summit Avenue to Newington Drive.

In preparation for the event, York Road will be closed to all traffic from County Line Road to Mill Road beginning at 10:30 a.m. Motorists should expect the roadway to remain closed until approximately 4:30 p.m., after the parade has fully cleared. During this time, no cross-traffic will be permitted anywhere along the parade route.

Parking restrictions will also be in effect. Parking will be prohibited on York Road starting at 10:00 a.m., and all vehicles must be removed from the roadway before that time. Residents who live directly on York Road will not be permitted to drive onto or off of the road once the closure begins. Police are urging residents who may need to travel during the affected hours—particularly for emergencies or critical obligations—to relocate their vehicles in advance.

Similarly, those attempting to return home after 10:30 a.m. may find that they are unable to access their residence by vehicle until the road reopens. Local officials are asking residents and business owners to plan ahead to avoid disruptions.

Chief Ruegg and the Hatboro Police Department have distributed notification letters to homes and businesses along the parade route to ensure the community is properly informed of the closure and its impacts.

Anyone with questions about traffic or access should contact the Hatboro Police Department at (215) 675-2832. For questions related specifically to the parade, the Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce can be reached at [email protected]
