Sandy (Sandra Ann) Zygmont, 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 20, 2025. She was born on April 19,1956.
Sandy and her husband, John, were married in July of 1981 and resided in Hatboro for 35 years. It was there that they raised their children, were active community members and served the Borough of Hatboro for decades.
She served as a PTA mom, Union Library of Hatboro Board President, treasurer, and board member, Little League team mom, Hatboro-Horsham Soccer club treasurer, Hatboro Council Member, a member of the Hatboro Republican Organization, Hatboro Committee Woman, fundraised for the Hatboro Pool Revitalization, and served as a board member of the Hatboro Borough Authority member. She was known in her community for her acts of service and her hard work.
After her children were all beyond elementary age, Sandy went to work for the Upper Moreland Township School District for 27 years. Over that time, she served as a Primary- Intermediate School paraprofessional, reading support specialist, and in one-on-one support.
Relatives and friends are invited to her evening viewing on June 4 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in Schneider Funeral Home, 431 N. York Road, Hatboro, and again on Thursday, June 5, in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Avenue, Warrington, after 9:30 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.
