When Horsham Township's Director of Community and Economic Development, Larry Burns attended the SelectUSA Investment Summit in Washington, D.C. last week, he had one message for attendees: Why aren’t you in Horsham?

Burns was in the Nation's Capital for the U.S. government event, hosted by U.S. Department of Commerce, dedicated to promoting foreign direct investment (FDI) in the United States. The goal of the event to attract international companies looking to establish or expand operations in the United States.

The event drew more than 5,500 registered attendees from across the United States and around the globe. While there, Burns connected with both longtime partners and new contacts to showcase all that Horsham has to offer, according to a Township announcement.

"Horsham is an exceptional place to live, work, play and raise a family," Horsham Township wrote on social media. "His key message to the national and international businesses was clear: Why aren’t you in Horsham?"

The Summit was held May 11 through 14, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, National Harbor in Maryland.
