‘La Sylphide’ by the Philadelphia Ballet
From Thursday, May 8 until Sunday, May 11, the Philadelphia Ballet will be presenting La Sylphide along with Études at the Academy of Music. August Bournonville’s La Sylphide along with a powerful score by Herman Severin Løvenskiold tells the story of a young farmer enticed by a magical forest spirit to leave his wife and life behind.

Emanuel Ax Plays Mozart with Philadelphia Orchestra
From Friday, May 9 until Sunday, May 11, acclaimed pianist Emanuel Ax and conductor Dalia Stasevska will be performing with the Philadelphia Orchestra at the Marian Anderson Hall.
