Scott Seifer and his father, Flynn, had big dreams of operating a jewelry store together.

Flynn opened and operated his own jewelry store, Flynn's Jewelers, on Maple Avenue in 1979, but decided to make Hatboro his home and move the store to 130 S. York Road in June 1999.

Flynn sold, made, and repaired jewelry until his sudden passing. That's when Scott decided to keep the legacy alive and re-open the store in 2022.

The store was a dream Flynn and Scott had and would talk about, according to the Borough. After his father's passing, Scott did exactly what he and his dad talked about creating by reopening F&S Jewelry & Collectibles three years ago, with the F for Flynn and the S for Scott.

The impact the business has had on the community has not gone unnoticed. At a recent Borough of Hatboro municipality meeting, the Borough took time to recognize Scott Seifer's accomplishments.

Scott makes, repairs, and sells jewelry, as well as buys and trades sports and Pokémon cards at the store. He also takes consignment items in as well. Since opening his store, Scott has supported Hatboro events with donations and sponsorships.

"The Borough of Hatboro appreciates and recognizes F& S Collectibles/ formerly Flynn’s Jewelers, for their outstanding support of Hatboro residents, business owners, and organizations. For over two, almost three decades, they have continued to positively impact lives withing Hatboro and neighboring communities on a daily basis. The Borough of Hatboro is extremely grateful for all their work in making Hatboro a better  place to live, work, and play."
