Horsham Township is recognizing a job well done and a good cause, all in one.
At its recent Horsham Township Council meeting on June 23, officials took time to honor the efforts from everyone involved with the inaugural Horsham Fire & Ice Open charity golf event, hosted by the Waterside Horsham Foundation, which raised $40,000 for the police and fire departments in Horsham.
“We are incredibly thankful for their efforts in supporting our first responders,” Horsham Township officials wrote.
The golf tournament was held at Sandy Run Golf Club on May 5.
The Waterside Horsham Foundation was formed in 2024 by a group of Horsham Township residents committed to giving back to the community. The purpose is to provide financial support to address community needs with the goal of improving the well-being of our township.

Still it in its infancy, but its impact massive, the organization aims to foster relationships built on trust and mutual understanding, mobilize the community in time of need, strive to meet the highest ethical standards, embrace continuous improvement, and have tangible and lasting results.
