Horsham Township continues its 2025 summer roadwork program with several local streets seeing significant progress in paving and milling operations.
As of the end of last week, Horsham Township Public Works has completed paving on Lois Road. Crews are set to begin work on Joseph Road and Marietta Drive starting Monday, July 21, with completion expected by Wednesday, July 23.
Contractor A. Giuliani & Co. will begin milling operations on Babylon Road (between Davis Grove Road and Horsham Road) and Prospect Avenue (from Walnut Avenue to Sawmill Lane) on Thursday, July 24, and Friday, July 25. This week, Glasgow will be milling additional sections, including:
Paving on Greenwoods Drive, Firewood Drive, Clearbrook Drive, Forrester Road, and Beaver Hill Road is scheduled for the same Monday to Wednesday timeframe. Afterward, the focus will shift to paving Moreland Road, Babylon Road, and Lower State Road.
Throughout these projects, access will be maintained for local traffic and emergency services. Residents living directly on affected streets will be able to enter and exit their homes during the work. However, other drivers are encouraged to plan for delays, possible full closures, and detours in the work zones.
Please remember, asphalt is extremely hot during and immediately after paving. Keep children and pets away from freshly paved surfaces, and use caution when walking or driving near work zones.
As with any large-scale project, the schedule is subject to change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. Residents are encouraged to stay alert for updates from Horsham Township.
