Vehicle causes accident with injuries at Horsham's Chase Bank

Witnesses at the scene said a driver was 'driving erratically' in the area prior to the crash.

A vehicle has caused an accident with injuries near the Chase Bank in Horsham, according to county dispatch, slowing traffic in the vicinity as first responders assist with medical needs for those involved.

According to county dispatch, a call was received around 12:28 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 24 to the area of 136 Welsh Road, at the Chase Bank for the report of a vehicle crashing into the bank. Early reports stated the driver had injuries requiring emergency medical services.

A sedan was found crashed into Chase Bank, with a male driver who was able to get out of the vehicle, according to witnesses at the scene. Some witnesses said that a car was “driving erratically” in the area, with some stating he was “speeding or not paying attention to the road” in the vicinity. Another at the scene said that the driver “looks disoriented,” said dispatch.

Responding to the were units from Horsham Fire Company Ambulance, Horsham Township Police, and Horsham Fire Company, along with other first responders.
