Horsham Township recently announced that its Farmers' Winter Market scheduled to run in February through April will be canceled.

The construction of Miracle Field will make this season of the Farmer’s Market unavailable. The project broke ground midway through 2024 and construction started around December.

"Unfortunately, we must cancel the Horsham Farmers' Winter Markets scheduled through April due to construction at Miracle Field," it said on social media. "Details on our 2025 pre-season market on Sunday, May 18, will be shared as the date approaches."

Many residents have expressed their sadness of the cancelation on social media. Multiple people have questioned if the event can be held in a different location.

“This really is disappointing,” one commenter said. “I am surprised that's there is not an alternative that could be used once a month until the market opens for the season.”

Another wrote, “Hi. The township can’t provide a different space? This is such a bummer.”

Another offered a suggestion: "It’s a shame it can’t be done in one of the school gyms in the township."

You can follow updates from the Horsham Farmer's Market through its Facebook page.

The new Miracle League field will give those with physical and cognitive challenges the opportunity to participate in recreational activities in an accessible, nurturing, and non-competitive environment.

A Miracle League field is a custom-designed field with a cushioned, rubberized turf to help prevent injuries, wheelchair-accessible dugouts and a completely flat, barrier-free surface to provide accessibility for visually impaired players, players in wheelchairs or with other assistive equipment. The field will be completely fenced in to provide additional safety.
