The Hatboro Police Department is seeking your help.

In conjunction with the American Red Cross, Hatboro will conduct its first Battle of the Badges Blood Drive on Tues., Jan. 14.

The event will take place at the Pennypack Community Center, 130 Spring Ave., in Hatboro, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

According to the Red Cross, “Battle of the Badges builds camaraderie among local first responders through a friendly competition to see who can recruit the most blood donors. Supporting the Red Cross blood supply is another great way to touch lives in the communities you serve every day.”

Donations will help support the Hatboro Police Department, Enterprise Fire Company of Hatboro, Second Alarmer's Association and Rescue Squad of Montgomery County, Upper Moreland Township Fire Department, & Upper Moreland Police Department.

A Facebook page was created to help bring awareness to the event.
