Following the Christmas holiday, one Hatboro man was required to report to county jail to serve three to 12 months for charges stemming from a 2023 video recording incident in which he recorded patrons of a Horsham pizza shop using the restroom without their knowledge.
Montgomery County Courts found Angel Ramos-Cruz, 35, of the 200 block of North York Road in Hatboro, guilty and sentenced him to serve three to 12 months in county jail for charges that included invasion of privacy and possession of child pornography, according to a report by Carl Hessler Jr. Additionally, he will have three years of probation following his jail time.
As videos included at least six different children ages 7 to 17, both male and female, Ramos-Cruz will also be required to register with the Pennsylvania’s Sexual Offender Registration and Notification Act, formally known as Megan’s Law for the next 15 years.
According to police, Ramos-Cruz used the Main Street Pizzeria and Grille on Blair Mill Road in Horsham to record patrons using the unisex, single-stall bathroom via a cell phone surveillance system while he was employed there.
