A pedestrian has been reportedly struck by a vehicle along West County Line Road in Horsham

A pedestrian has been struck by a vehicle, according to county dispatch, in Horsham Township on Friday night.

According to county dispatch, a call was received around 7:34 p.m. to the 300 block of West County Line Road in Horsham, near Ritchie’s Pub and Restaurant for the report of a vehicle accident, involving a pedestrian. One person was struck by a vehicle.

Early reports from the scene indicated that CPR efforts were being made on the victim of the accident. A large, two-door pick-up truck remained at the scene with front grill damage on its front passenger's side.

Responding to the scene are units from Horsham Township Police, the Horsham Fire Company Ambulance,  Central Bucks EMS of Warminster, and Horsham Fire Company No. 1, among other first responders.

The pedestrian’s condition was not yet released to the public. Driver are asked to avoid the area as possible, and crews work to assist those involved. West County Line Road is closed from Henry Avenue and Norristown Road. It is expected to remain closed for the rest of the evening, police said.
