On Saturday, Feb. 22, Greek Korner, a new Greek-style restaurant located at 133 South York Road, hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of its new location in Hatboro.
The Hatboro Chamber of Commerce helped welcome the new business to town as the festive event helped bring out a crowd. The store set up a table with many complimentary food items.
The restaurant celebrated in typical Greek fashion by breaking plates on the ground, declaring, "Opa!!"
"Welcome to Hatboro," Rep. Nance Guenst wrote. "We are thrilled to have you as part of our community."
The menu consists of traditional Greek items like chicken and shrimp souvlaki, Tzatziki, salads, a kids menu, and more. You can see the full menu here.
The restaurant lists its operating hours as Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and it is closed on Sunday.
