Horsham Day is an annual community celebration, typically held on the first Saturday in June, that features a variety of activities, entertainment, and competitions designed to bring the community together.

However, this year, the township announced that the traditional Horsham Day will not take place in 2025. Instead, it will opt for only a firework show on Saturday. June 7, starting at 9 p.m.

"There won’t be a full Horsham Day in 2025, but — we’re still bringing the fun," the township wrote on in a post. "This year, we’re switching things up with just an epic fireworks show on Saturday, June 7th (rain date: June 8th) at Deep Meadow Park!"

To honor the event that took place over the years, Horsham recently released a "This is Horsham Day" video, highlighting the events of the past.

"While we’re sad that Horsham Day won’t take place this year, we’re keeping the spirit alive with our brand-new "This is Horsham Day" video," the township wrote. "Whether you’ve never been or just want to relive the excitement, this video captures all the fun, community, and memories that make Horsham Day so special."

In previous years, activities and events for Horsham Day included:

  • Sports Tournaments: Participants engaged in softball, volleyball, and pickleball tournaments. There also was a 5K Walk/Run, fishing contest and a basketball competition.
  • Fitness Classes: Adult and youth boot camps were offered, including sessions for elementary and middle/high school-aged children.
  • Car Show: A car show is held, showcasing a variety of vehicles.
  • Live Entertainment: The event featured live music performances, including tribute bands like the Hearts Club Band (a Beatles tribute band), and other local performers.
  • Family Activities: Family-friendly activities included inflatables, a petting zoo, pony rides, and goat yoga sessions.
  • Food and Vendors: A variety of food options were available from local restaurants and food trucks. Additionally, local vendors offered handmade crafts, art, clothing, and more.
  • Community Engagement: The event included a farmers' market, model train displays, and community village activities.

All of those activities have been scrapped this year as the township said it will "reimagine" the event for 2026.

"Horsham Day Will Be Back In 2026—Bigger, Better, And Reimagined!" the township wrote.
