Senator Maria Collett (D-12 Montgomery) announced $492,400 in grant funding for 32 local fire companies and emergency medical services (EMS) departments awarded by the Office of the State Fire Commissioner.
“Here in Pennsylvania, we’re focused on keeping our communities, and the brave first responders who serve them, safe – especially in light of tragedies like the recent plane crash in Northeast Philadelphia,” Senator Collett said. “I’m proud to support these grants each year to ensure our local fire fighters and EMS providers can secure the equipment and training they need to continue their lifesaving work.”
